Responsibilities for CCTV technician
- Local travel will be required from time to time
- Execute remote field service from a home based office
- Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on Company retail products and equipment at customer sites
- Teach customers how to use their equipment properly
- Testing and troubleshooting analog and IP CCTV, networking, and cabling issues
- Installing low voltage CCTV systems in industrial/commercial environments
- Testing and terminating coaxial, fiber, and copper cable as need for analog and IP based CCTV
- Dressing and terminating equipment within an IDF room
- Programming analog and IP CCTV systems
- Working with Pelco systems and integration of systems
Qualifications Required
- Requires excellent organizational, communication, computer and problem solving skills
- Able to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stop, and kneel for long periods of time outdoors in extreme heat/cold and sun
- Two year technical degree in Industrial Technology or Instrumentation preferred
- CCTV operation & pipeline inspections experience
- In depth understanding of the NZPIM
- The potential to grow with the CCTV business
